Netcore announces the availability of a new proactive security and protection service for physical, virtual and workstation server workloads.
The Advanced Security + XDR service leverages the power of AI to protect devices in a way that implements automatic analysis, detection and mitigation capabilities for both known and emerging threats.
The eXtended Endpoint Detection & Response (XDR) service is responsible for identifying, in part through integration with the MITRE ATT&CK database, behaviors that may be malicious or known threats, detecting their actions, performing automated analysis and monitoring, and – if possible – also triggering mitigation countermeasures ranging from stopping malicious activities to undoing changes made to restoring damaged data directly from backup archives, when integrated with such capabilities.
XDR capabilities will enable customers to reduce activity analysis of suspicious activities from days to hours, while also reducing the staff required to aggregate information from different sources to correlate possible malicious or suspicious actions. In fact, the service interface provides a detailed analysis of such activities, aggregating the information into unique screenshots that provide security indices of the dangerousness of detected operations and links to external sources that better explain what the risks of the breach are.
Enabling these components also helps provide more specific information and document at the administrative level the effects of possible breaches and how the threat was contained, thereby helping company personnel compile reports for possible authorities or forensic queries.
In addition, the Advanced Security service makes available on protected devices a powerful anti-virus, anti-malware and anti-ransomware service that protects workloads, even those not hosted within the Netcore infrastructure. In fact, all of the services mentioned, starting with XDR, can also be activated on physical and virtual servers located in other datacenters. An additional service component tracks and reports the availability of patches for known security issues, helping to improve the security of devices in use.
The service, offered at an exceptional cost, is available immediately to all customers and confirms Netcore’s ongoing investment in data security and protection and the company’s ability to provide technologically innovative solutions.
